Highland Parks & Recreation Fun Day

We have many pictures to share.  We had 30 people rsvp to our Play Day, but only 5 children showed up due to the weather.  We had to cut our day short due to rain, but we had fun for the first hour.  We did a football kick, football pass through a hoop, bean bag toss, egg toss and egg on a spoon race.  We challenged ourselves to hula hoops and played a lot of different games with a parachute.  We did sack races, and then the moms joined in and raced too.  We tried balancing on our balance boards, first two feet, then seeing how long we could balance on one foot.  We kicked a dodge ball around soccer cones to test our skills and then we kicked the balls to see how well we could control the ball.  Moms and Grandma seemed to enjoy the day.  We will be mulching trees and planting trees soon, and hope they come back to join us then.
