Picnic Fun in the Park

The City of Fontana is hosting a Picnic in the Park Play Day in an effort to create an opportunity for youth and their families to take part in healthy activities while highlighting the resources available to them through the Community Services Department.  At a time where active play is on the decline, fewer children spend time outside and budgets are limited, it has been recognized that play is a crucial factor of the overal well-being of youth so offering active alternatives to the community will increase the awareness of the importance of play.
